An expressive nose of red fruit, tobacco and anise seed leads to flavors of black raspberry, cranberry, orange oil and cinnamon. This blend has a nicely integrated acidity and a long finish. While still true to Its Portuguese varietal roots, the 2017 blend also incorporates some Red Mountain Syrah and Mourvedre. They lend it additional complexity and length without compromising its trademark food pairing versatility and alcohol restraint.
