Vaftra and Mandilaria
The Moraitis Winery is located on the island of Paros with Aegean winds key to cooling the region and the vines, keeping the balance of rich fruit and acid in the finished wines. Vineyards are hand picked, and the wines made with low sulfur addition. Seaside plantings of Mandilaria and Vaftra offer low yields and rich juice. Pressed grapes spend 8-10 lengthy months on the lees giving great structure to a chillable, easy drinking red.
