Ouest is the new line from Division Wines, made for the people and the planet. These wines hail from the Columbia Valley, which lays near the volcanic Cascade Mountains and features rolling hills and arid landscapes. The vineyards here, which thrive in a dry and warm climate, are home to some of the most interesting and under-the-radar plantings. Ouest wines are fermented spontaneously and naturally to coax nuance and contrasting fruit-driven and savory aromatics. Small sulfur additions are made to protect the wine throughout ageing.
Channeling some serious Mediterranean vibes here, with Sangiovese, Grenache, and Gamay blended and reflecting perfect salmon hues. Low fermentation temps (all in stainless tanks, natch) translate to gorgeous aromatics and fine minerality in the glass.
