Crafted by eighth-generation winemaker Patrice Colin, this wine hails from the lesser-known Coteaux du Vendômois AOC, a hidden gem region lying along a tributary of the Loire River. Made from certified organic old vines, the wine beautifully balances regional heritage with vibrant, modern winemaking.
At the heart of this red blend is Pineau d’Aunis (from 60 yr old vines!), an ancient, indigenous grape variety celebrated for its distinctive aromatic profile. Complemented by Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc, the blend yields a wine that is strikingly fresh and structurally complex.
