Moritz Kissinger is part of a new generation of winemakers who have a focus on organic farming and crafting low-intervention wines with a serious approach to quality. Kissinger’s limited production gems hail from the limestone rich soils in the heart of Germany’s Rheinhessen region.
The “0 Ohm” wines are what could be called the “estate wines,” a red and a white that, as their “0 Ohm” name implies, ripple with energy and bounce. The 2023 white is a blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay with a few days of maceration. The wine is saline, with waxy citrus fruit, lemon pith and herbs.
