100% Cabernet Franc
Intense cherry color with a slightly cloudy hue. On the nose, it offers vibrant aromas of black cherry and fresh plum. The palate is fresh and persistent, with silky, soft tannins and a floral character that blends seamlessly with vibrant, crunchy raspberry notes and roasty herbs.
The Echeverría family has been integral to Chilean viticulture since 1740, establishing their present-day estate and winery in 1923 near Molina in the Curicó Valley. Across 80 hectares of vineyards, they work with heritage French pre-phylloxera rootstocks. The winery transitioned from bulk production to fine wine export in 1990, now crafting premium wines for international markets.
In the following years, Echeverria became one of the few boutique wineries to emerge from Chile and the first family-owned Chilean winery to sell wine at Harrods in London. Their No Es Pituko line features "nothing added" wines—wild-fermented, free of additives, including sulfites, and bottled unfiltered and unfined. The Cabernet Franc is fermented with natural yeast for 25 days with very soft pump overs to encourage aromas and color from the skins, it then sees aging in stainless steel before bottling.
