With this vintage of Breaking Bread's orange wine, the winemaker adds in additional layers of complexity and experiments with other varieties. They decided to add equal parts of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc to the dominant Muscat Blanc and once again take a delicate approach. The Chardonnay contributes more weight and complexity to the mouthfeel, while the Sauvignon Blanc brings in more acidity and higher notes.
All grapes are destemmed with zero sulfur added and native yeast, with a total of ten days on the skins, making for more balanced phenolics.
