Australian winery Mt. Yengo was created as a tool to introduce and unite the values of the First Nations People to the newcomers to the region, bridging a gap by understanding cultures. Proceeds from wine sales benefit the National Indigenous Culinary Institute as well as the artist whose work adorns the bottles each vintage. A strong connection to the arts is very important to founder Gary Green who actually hired the first artist he worked with to be the artistic director, underlining the importance of arts within a community to foster an even playing field for everyone.
