Claus Preisinger is a biodynamic winemaker who feels strongly that making natural wine with sustainable practices is not only a moral responsibility, but it makes for some pretty great wine too. All his wines are fabulous, but I like this one for its versatility. Puszta in Hungarian means the "wide free land" and that is nicely embodied in this wine.
The old school label and bottle shape pay homage to vintage lemonade bottles of the 1920s. Puszta, which translates to “prairie” or “plains” in Hungarian, harkens back to when the vineyards used for this wine were still part of Hungary. And Libre, Spanish for “free”, is exactly how you should feel when sipping this wine.
