"Virga Morada" means "purple rain that never hits the ground." Ashanta is the project of 3rd generation winemaker, Chenoa Ashton-Lewis, and cinematographer, Will Basanta. The old vine, dry-farmed grapes were planted by Chenoa's grandparents, Justine and Stephen Ashton. They get the apples for this co-ferment from their friends Bardos Cider in Occidental, CA.

A fun sparkling wine with tart cherry, red currant, flintstones vitamins, and Jelly Bellies with earthy undertones. They recommend sipping this as you cook, at an afternoon BBQ or sunset on the beach.
