Located in the heart of Cilento National Park near Paestum, Campania, San Salvatore 1988 is a premier, environmentally-conscious azienda agricola founded in 2006 by entrepreneur Giuseppe Pagano. Spanning 149 hectares of organic farmland, the estate integrates vineyards and olive groves with a 550-head water buffalo herd to create a sustainable agricultural ecosystem. Their Falanghina is meticulously crafted using six hours of cryomaceration and soft pressing, followed by fermentation in stainless steel. To ensure a fresh yet textured profile, the wine is aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks for six months before release, resulting in a pure expression of the Southern Italian terroir.
Bright straw yellow color. Aromas of citrus, green apple, banana, pineapple, orange blossom and Mediterranean scrub. Fresh and enticing on the palate with a satisfying finish.
