18-year NFL vet Charles Woodson’s love of wine was fostered during spring training for the Oakland Raiders in Napa Valley. Woodson brings the same passion and hard work to his wine as his once-in-a-lifetime football career. With Intercept, the defensive great delivers Paso Robles and Monterey wines with diversity and complexity that reflect his own storied journey. Intercept is proud to be supporting the next generation of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) who are interested in pursuing a career in the wine industry through the Charles Woodson & O’Neill Family Wine Scholarships. These will provide full funding to students aiming to study viticulture, enology, or wine business at two of the top university wine programs in California through California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) and Sonoma State University (SSU). Alongside this initiative, Intercept Wines is a proud member of the non-profit Association of African American Vintners.
