Château Peybonhomme-Les Tours, in the Côtes-de-Blaye is said to be located on some of the best limestone and clay soils in the area. Luckily for us, they're outside Bordeaux's best-known appellations, so prices are reasonable for such excellent wines. Practicing biodynamic for nearly two decades, the Hubert family has been an integral part of Bordeaux's winemaking community for five generations. This wine is straightforward in the fruity attack, fairly tannic in the mid-palate and then a finish bursting with finesse.
