This historic estate is famed for extremely old fortified wines, but its newly released table wine range provides solid modern Barossa wines at affordable prices. The Riesling is bright and spritzy, jumping from the glass with lemon-lime sherbet aromas and softer honey and flower blossom characters. The palate is both slippery and chalky as well as clean and fruity but still bouncy and bright. A straightforward, likable wine.
