Founded in 1818 by Nicolas Francois Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon, who married and decided to make Champagne in their hometown of Mareuil-sur-Ay. The house has been run by the family ever since, for 7 generations. 50-60% reserve wine; aged on lees for 30 months. Floral notes with fresh fruits highlighted by light biscuit aromas. Pure with delicate texture, fresh apple and crunchy pears.
