Mas de Boislauzon is a family-owned estate in the southern Rhône Valley, led by siblings Christine and Daniel Chaussy, whose family has farmed the region for generations. The estate is best known for its Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, but “La Chaussynette” offers a more playful and approachable expression of Rhône varietals outside the constraints of the appellation system.
Farmed organically, the vineyards are rooted in the warm Mediterranean climate and rocky soils that define the region, helping produce wines with both ripeness and structure. The Chaussy family focuses heavily on vineyard health and minimal intervention, allowing the fruit and terroir to guide the final wine rather than aggressive cellar techniques.
“La Chaussynette” is bottled as Vin de France, giving the estate more flexibility in blending and style while still maintaining a clear Rhône identity. The wine leans into freshness and drinkability, showcasing juicy fruit, soft spice, and an easygoing character that makes it incredibly versatile. It’s a modern southern French red with plenty of personality—uncomplicated in the best possible way.
