The family behind Turmeon has been perfecting their craft vermouths for three generations. They attest that the secret to their vermouth is the aging of the wine they use - still using barrel heir grandfather (the Pipero) built where the wine has been patiently aging for over 80 years. They use up to 12 botanical including cinnamon, clove, and wormwood.
The Vermouth has a beautiful mahogany color with intense aromas of halzenuts, almonds, nuts and dry figs, and with a touch of balsamics. On the palate, it's smooth, round, unabashedly sweet, yet elegant with orange peel and vanilla notes. This is a full-body vermouth, with a long post taste a good intensity but with silky and sweet tannins.
