Blend of Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Baga, Rufete, Camarate, Trincadeira, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Carvalha
Sara Dionísio and António Ribeiro sustainably farm several plots of land ranging from 140 to 400 meters in elevation in the heart of the Dão, Certified organic in 1997, they began biodynamic practices in the vineyard and cellar in 2006 and have held strong ever since. Focusing on terroir to guide their process, they delight in a field blend and this blend is no exception.
Made from Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Baga, Rufete, Camarate, Trincadeira, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Carvalha grown on vines ranging from 15 to 85 years old in granite rich soils. The palate is lush and juicy but has a lively playfulness - plummy and zippy to the end.
