This ‘house wine’ collaboration between one of our favorite European importers and their most trusted Italian producers features wines that deliver remarkable authenticity at value-driven pricing. Zingara means “wanderer” in Italian and represents the inspiration and spirit behind Uva Imports. The Zingara wines are produced with hand-picked grapes from family farms using sustainable farming practices. Each of the Zingara wines are made with a sense of history, pride, and passion at every phase of the winemaking process. The Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is made by winemaker, Vittoria Festa, with fruit harvested from vineyards around the Chieti and Colline Teramane regions.
Montepulciano is one of our favorite Italian table wine styles. Zingara is a fresh and balanced medium-bodied red. The palate shows a combination of bright fruit light red plum and black with hints of earthy, savory undertones that make it a great food pairing.
