"Kumusha" is a Shona word meaning "your home," "your roots," or "your origin" and is a callback to Tinashe's home country of Zimbabwe. His journey into the wine world began as a teenager working in Cape Town restaurants quickly working his way to head sommelier in some of the city's top restaurants until beginning his own winery in 2018.
Fruit is sourced from a small farmer in Swartland. Partial carbonic maceration; aged for 12 months in big barrels. Juicy and fresh, but with plenty of natural grip and earth. Really enjoyable and super versatile. Notes of dark berry, plum, coffee, and baking spice, and a savory finish.
