Run by father and daughter team, Claudio and Alessandra, Claudio Quarta Vignaiolo is made up of three different projects across Campania and Puglia. Alessandra began working alongside her father in the vineyards and the cellar in 2012. Since early 2023, she has been at the helm of the company. Her personal project, QU.ALE, is the coalescence of her passions for sustainability, innovation, innovation and tradition. Produced at the Tenute Eméra, QU.ALE is the “democratic” wine symbol of Alessandra’s social commitment: created to express a different way of making wine that is fair, supportive, sustainable and to be shared by all. The name is an acronym of the three questions asked at the wine’s conception: “What world do we want to live in? What future do we have to create? What wine is sustainable?” A portion of all the proceeds from sales of QU.ALE go to charitable organizations.
QU.ALE opens with a fresh and fruity nose. Flavors of rich dark fruits (blackberries, black cherry, purple plum), ripe raspberry, tobacco and baking spices combine with fine, naturally soft tannins for a bold mouthfeel.
