Rioja Alavesa, crafted exclusively from estate-grown grapes cultivated on the high-altitude slopes of the Sierra de Toloño with vines averaging 40 years in age, some dating back to 1918. The estate practices certified organic and biodynamic farming, integrating regenerative agriculture and agroforestry to foster biodiversity and harmony.
Classic style with vibrant acidity, refined tannins, and moderate alcohol levels. Harvested by hand from mid-October to early November, the grapes underwent spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aged for 21 months in a combination of foudres and barrels. Bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur, the wine then matures in bottle for five years before release. The result is a wine of remarkable depth and longevity, poised to evolve gracefully over decades .
