The Cuvée Grand Assemblage Brut 1er Cru from Champagne Jeeper perfectly represents the diversity of Champagne with its blend of vineyards from 37 communes. This generous and authentic champagne is ideal for aperitifs with friends. Composed of 60% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir, and 15% Meunier. The grapes are hand-harvested, sorted both in the vineyard and in the cellar, with minimal pressing to respect the berries. Aged on lees for at least 4 years, 20% of the Chardonnay is also aged for 2 years in oak barrels from Burgundy.
The former owner named his brand Champagne Jeeper in tribute to the Willys Jeep he acquired from the American military at the end of the Second World War, which allowed him to tour the vineyards in total tranquillity. Champagne Jeeper, whose winery is located in Faverolles et Coëmy, a commune near Reims in the north-west of the Champagne region, today has a workforce of around 45 people.
