This is the 7th edition of this very special, much-loved Sweet Vermouth! Each year is a bit different, but it's always made with a base wine with added herbs, spices, and fruits. This year it's made with infusions of home-grown blood oranges, sour cherries, wormwood and cardoons, along with coriander seed, cinchona bark and blessed thistle.
Complex spices and herbal notes of mint, fennel, clove, and nutmeg on the nose give way to orange zest, pine, fig and cherry cola on the palate with a lightly bitter finish. Highly complex, aromatic, makes a great cocktail, enjoy it as a spritzer with a twist, or “neat" as an aperitif or with dessert.
