Grown in the Western Cape's Olifants River Valley, the wine undergoes a full, traditional winemaking process, including 9-12 months of oak aging, before the alcohol is gently removed using modern spinning cone technology to preserve its delicate aromas and flavors. The result is a medium-bodied, vegan-friendly red with a deep ruby hue and notes of red and black berries, dark plum, mocha, and a subtle hint of spice and vanilla, all balanced by fine tannins and a pleasingly dry finish.
