It was 2007 when Burgundy icon Guillaume d’Angerville blind tasted a Tissot Arbois Chardonnay he was wowed. He was so inspired by this wine that he dove into adventure to discover his own slice of this region. Just five years later he had found his perfect location of vineyards in the Jura, and Domaine du Pélican was born. They have already gained a steady following, resulting in allocation for these special wines of distinction and character. The Domaine du Pelican team practices strictly biodynamic viticultural techniques with manual harvests for each vintage.
The Trois Cepages, as the name suggests, is a blend of three grapes. It has been produced since the winery’s inaugural vintage, in 2012. The vineyards for Trois Cepages are all located in the village of Montigny-les-Arsures. The geology of the soils are composed of predominantly grey and black marls, partially covered with fallen rocks. Burgundy's younger brother with tart red fruits cranberry, strawberry and fresh herbs. Vibrant and chillable!
