Born from Gonzalo Vial’s passion for the landscape of his country, each wine seeks to encapsulate what makes Chile such a unique country. With a dedication to sustainable agriculture, the oenological team at Ventisquero maintains vineyards across Chile’s growing regions, allowing them to produce their terroir driven wines while still using estate fruits for each bottling.
100% of this wine matured for 18 months in extra fine-grain French oak barrels, 34% of them first-use, 66% second- and third-use. Aged in bottle for 8 months. Racked three times.
Blackberries, blueberries, and black cherries, intermingled with notes of pepper and spices, as well as damp earth and graphite minerals. This wine has vibrant body and is very fresh and tense. It is smooth on entry, with firm, velvety tannins and fresh acidity.
