Their slogan is "Champagne is from France. CARBONISTE is from California." It was born out of their desire to reimagine sparkling wine in California. The Gomes family has been farming on Andrus Island since the 1800’s when they immigrated from Portugal, where Albariño (Alvarinho) is grown extensively. This is their signature "critter" that's full of concentration, flavor and acid. They recommend pairing with Octopus (as seen on the label)!
