Natural wines / minimal intervention wines do not use pesticides, herbicides, chemicals, or any other artificial materials in the winemaking process. They truly express the place where they were grown, reflecting the complexities and imperfections of nature. They're sustainably, organically, or biodynamically made with little to no added sulfites or preservatives and often unfiltered and unfined. No fillers, no herbicides, no round-up, no random flavoring chemicals. A living wine is bottled - full of all the naturally occurring microbiology that exists in the vineyards.
